Day 1

We will pick your group up at your designated pick up point anywhere in Ireland and travel towards Westport making comfort and leisure stops en-route

Day 2

After breakfast, we will board our luxury coach and make our way to the Museum of Country Life. This award-winning Museum is home to the National Heritage, Culture & Natural History Collection.  It gives its visitors a unique opportunity to see how the people of Ireland lived in the years between the Great Famine and the end of the 1950’s. From here we will make our way back to Castlebar where you will have time for lunch and free time to explore the town of Castlebar. Once we depart Castlebar we travel back to Westport where you will visit Westport House.  Westport house is still privately owned and is one of a few Irish historic homes of national and international importance that can make that claim. Originally owned by the Browne family for over 300 years it was more recently bought by the Hughes Family. This is a must do tour while visiting this area.

Day 3

This morning after breakfast we will depart the hotel and travel to Achill Island. Achill Island is Irelands largest island and is the only Island accessible by bridge from the mainland. Here we will take a scenic drive around the coast road where we will see Clew Bay, unspoilt sandy beaches, some of the tallest sea cliffs in Ireland and the beautiful, picturesque village of Achill.

Day 4

Today after breakfast we will again board our luxury coach and take a scenic drive toward Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Gardens. We will take a route which displays the most breath-taking scenery that Connemara has to offer. When we arrive at Kylemore Abbey you will have a chance to visit the gardens and explore the grounds of the Abbey. After our visit to Kylemore abbey we will take a short drive back to leenane where we will take our wonderful cruise on the Killary Fjord. This cruise offers a great way to take in the dramatic sweep of the landscape as you pass through the Twelve Bens and the Maam Turk and Mweelrea Mountains.

Day 5

This being our final day after breakfast we will check out of the hotel and start our journey home. We will enjoy a leisure stop with time for lunch en-route.  After lunch we will continue our journey and have comfort breaks as required.
